Description

The post holder will be responsible for managing patients undergoing gynaecology malignancies requiring systemic anti cancer therapies which will involve MDT attendance, seeing new patients, managing treatment plans and follow up.

This role will include a weekly gynae oncology ward round to include all gynae inpatients at VCC.


The post-holder will support the Acute Oncology service at Velindre Cancer Centre, including leading the post-take ward round, supporting the multidisciplinary teams managing acutely unwell patients presenting to Velindre.

This will entail one morning session, reviewing admitted and unwell patients on the ward, and providing timely senior review for unwell patients on the Acute Assessment Unit and Ambulatory Areas.
