Job Title - Operations Assistant


Responsible to - Quality Manager


Purpose of Role - To support the Quality Manager and AEB Team with general administration duties to ensure the smooth running of the operations and the best learner journey. An active member of the team who ensures all processes are followed and compliance and quality are maintained throughout.


Location- Office based in Sheffield


Key Responsibilities:


  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Answering calls, handling queries, and transferring calls
  • Filing, scanning, and printing documents
  • Providing general support to the AEB team and Quality Manager
  • Supporting Tutors and Enrolment Officers
  • Create and produce documents as required for operations
  • Ensure data held is accurate and up to date
  • Ensure learner files are up kept and stored in line with Data Protection regulations
  • Understand the funding rules for the contract
  • Support and organise enrolments
  • Gather learner feedback and data
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Ordering of equipment and learner materials
  • Act as the point of contact for learners
  • All other general administration duties

Skills Required:


  • Accuracy of data inputting and a good eye for detail
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft packages with a focus on Word and Excel
  • Ability to work alone or under supervision
  • Clear and accurate communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of GDPR
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Positive cando attitude

Qualifications

  • Maths and English at a Level 2 or equivalent
This role can be full or part time.
