Welder Fabricator may carry out tasks such as-


As a welder/sheet metal worker you will be required to weld a range of components from the Celeros flow technologies product portfolio using a variety of welding techniques including T.I.G, M.I.G and spot welding to specified drawings, Standard operation procedures, data sheets and other technical information.

Material sizes and thicknesses will vary and will include stainless steel sheet metal from 0.5mm to 3mm thickness. In addition, there is a requirement for forming and rolling material.

The welder/sheet metal worker is expected to work in safe manner and adhere to all health, safety & environmental policy, and procedures, whilst being totally responsible for the quality of their work.

The Welder will work efficiently using specified welding techniques and equipment, with an aim to achieve the standard times allocated against each operation.

The role involves a high level of flexibility across functional disciplines.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Using a variety of welding techniques, produce components that comply with engineering drawings and other supporting documents.
  • TIG welding 0.53mm sheet metal.
  • Rolling, forming and spot welding 0.53mm sheet metal
  • Be responsible for the quality of own work, including the visual inspection of welds and recording heat numbers of both components & consumables.
  • Ensure any issues related to the quality of components or equipment are reported immediately to line management
  • Accurately record times taken against each operation and feedback standard time variances to the welding shop supervisor.
  • Sign off production orders with relevant information to ensure compliance within the ISO 9001 quality management system.
  • Follow all health, safety & environmental policy & procedures to ensure the company upholds and exceeds its legal responsibilities.
  • Maintain a clean working area adhering to all housekeeping requirements as specified by your line manager.
  • Assist with the training of other employees, including apprentices.
  • Use initiative and propose ideas to improve quality, productivity, and cost performance.
  • Other reasonable tasks as requested.
