Job Purpose:
The Systems Support Engineer will primarily support both hardware and software related needs for end users. The users are both local, as well as remote. This role will be the main escalation point for all end user computing needs.
This is a hands-on rolethat requires supporting the infrastructure team as well as direct interaction with a diverse user base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary escalation point for all client hardware and software related needs
- Support client related operational tasks
- New client hardware imaging and deployments
- Application deployments and upgrades
- Windows 10/11 operating system support
- Site level Active Directory object management
- User, group and computer object management
- Support of Office 365 / Exchange Online related tasks
- Support of remote users
- Basic Windows server support
- Maintain compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
- Implement the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.
Skills and Experience:
- Working with MS Office & Office 36
- Working with Active Directory and Help Desk software
- Working with client imaging and software deployment products.
- Working in an IT environment that leverages both external and internal resources.
- Basic understanding of networking technologies.
- Experience with InTune/Mobile BYOD administration.
- Familiarity with Azure in a hybrid environment
- Supporting an Engineering organization running SolidWorks
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using SQL Server
They are looking for someone who is customer centric and has the interpersonal skills necessary to manage business and technology relationships with internal and external clients.
You should also be able to multi-task, as the support environment requires attention across multiple areas.
