Technical Officer (Retrofit)
Manchester Care and Repair is an award-winning local charity that supports older and vulnerable people to stay in their homes.
We are developing a Retrofit programme and are looking for an experienced enthusiastic
Technical Officer to work alongside our current team, taking a caseload of clients and taking a lead on our retrofit assessment activities.
The role would suit an experienced technical officer, who wants to work more directly with clients, has empathy with older people and an understanding of their home repair support needs.
As the lead for our retrofit programmes, you will have a good understanding of the options, requirement and technical specifications of whole house retrofit.
Perhaps you have previously worked for a housing provider or a local government and are looking for a different working environment or a better work life balance? Perhaps you want to specialise more in retrofit? The role is on offer at either 3 or 4 days per week, with a starting salary commensurate of experience.
