A unique opportunity for a Presentation Designer with PowerPoint skills to join our busy in-house design team.

You will be responsible for bringing our brand to life with your exceptional creative skills through our digital platforms and PowerPoint presentations.


Background
This is an exciting time to join the firm, and the design team.

The Presentation Designer will be actively supporting not only the development and growth trajectory of the firm, and supporting the creative function as the team develops to support the firm's business needs.


The design team has set out an exciting strategy to deliver the vision of the firm and bring sophistication and quality to all our creative thinking, design development and project activation.

Positioning the firm as a leader in every aspect of middle market business advisory.

To support in the delivery of this strategy, we are expanding the current team of ten to include this role.

You will have skills and experience in working collaboratively with other designers, whilst managing multiple projects, and key stakeholders. You will work closely with our national leadership team on developing cutting edge PowerPoint presentations from start to finish.


This position plays an integral role in the wider Brand and Communications team, supporting our Digital, PR, Internal Comms, Brand and Content teams.


The Presentation Designer will be supporting RSM's global vision to be the adviser of choice to middle market business leaders.

Internally, collaboration with peers and stakeholders will be key to delivering excellence, with a single clarifying thought which guides all our decisions, behaviours, values, and actions, 'The Power of Being Understood'.


This is a role where you need to be highly motivated, inquisitive, adaptable and an excellent communicator, with the confidence to challenge the status quo and bring the outside in.

You will also have a strong desire to understand the bigger picture, with the ability and confidence to ask the questions to tell our brand story through your design work.


Job description

  • Reporting to our Senior Design Executive, you will form a part of a specialist team that works closely with the brand
  • This is a varied role and you will have developed great skills already in managing projects across numerous stakeholders, with strong communication skills to proactively keep everything on track

Responsibilities

  • The main responsibility of this role is creating bespoke PowerPoint presentations and templates
  • You will also have the opportunity to create and implement design concepts for other platforms including our website, social media, digital and printed assets
  • Work within the global brand guidelines to create visual elements, illustrations, charts and infographics which effectively communicate our key messages
  • Design visually engaging templates and assets for CREATE, our Microsoft addon which is used by the wider business to produce high quality and onbrand collateral in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Collaborate on multiple projects of varying complexities, meeting the deadlines and supporting team members
  • Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to ensure solutions meet with our strategic marketing and design objectives and help to support best practice across all visual and designed collateral

What we are looking for

  • You are selfmotivated, goal oriented, have strong creative judgement and a great communicator
  • With a solid understanding of digital creative marketing and the ability to adapt across different channels, optimising for a mobile audience where necessary
  • As a great communicator you can articulate and effectively present your ideas to all levels in the business
  • You have the skills to manage multiple projects and priorities, collaborate and manage deadlines and the ability to organise your work within a design job booking process
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and manage key stakeholders accordingly
  • Excellent layout skills across digital and printed collateral, web/digital interfaces especially PowerPoint presentations
  • Importantly you are a design pioneer, curious and not afraid to take risks, with a keen eye for detail, and a passion for keeping on top of industry trends to keep us ahead of our competition

What experience you need

  • A depth of industry experience with a focus on presentation design
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of design and PowerPoint skills and aware
