Digital Health Records Team leader Band Hrs - Kingmoor park
The Digital Health Records department role is ensuring that all Trust staff receive access to digital images or documentation via the Electronic Document Management system (EDRMs) and associated Electronic Patient Records and Patient Administrative Systems.
This Digital Health Records Team leader posts will be a support mechanism for the Health Records Manager and Operational Leads and deputising where appropriate.
- Supporting the operational lead in the flexing of staff to ensure sufficient capacity to meet operational demands
- Ensuring the flow of medical records / information, either created in the Trust or pulling records for the preppers to scan and checking the process from start to finish is working in line with naming convention in the EDRMs.
- Deputising for relevant leads and other team leader as required
This post will support patient care on the front line through high quality, accurate and timely information along with the provisions of education and guidance on the management of health records.
- Coordinate the shifts and the staff on a day to day basis ensuring adequate operational cover each day.
- Coordinate the processes for annual leave / absences and accordingly authorising
- Give the staff support to ensure that their daily objectives of prepping, scanning and data quality is achieved, including operationally picking up tasks to support.
- Monitor and report sickness absence within the teams.
- Share knowledge and expertise in the administrative processes (i.e. running of IFIT reports)
- Cross cover for colleagues in times of annual leave and sickness cover
- Fully compliant with mandatory training
- Undertake staff appraisals
- Support the Health Records Manager with the investigation of complaints regarding case note availability

Disclosure and Barring Service:

£18 + Administration cost of £3.85 = £21.85. Deducted at £6.85 from 1st month salary and £5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
Enhanced Check:
£38 + administration cost of £3.90 = £41.90. Deducted at £11.90 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
