The Vacancy

About the role and the team

We are searching for Finance Officer (Bank and Receivables) to join our Finance team in London on a full-time (37.5 hours), permanent basis.

As Finance Officer (Bank and Receivables), you will lead the day to day operation of the accounts receivable and credit control functions by working closely with the financial controller to ensure that processing in these areas is complete, accurate and compliant, and supports the timely preparation of management accounts.

You will work with colleagues from across the organisation and key external stakeholders to ensure that income is received and cash is held and monitored in accordance with the Charity's internal financial controls and all legal and regulatory requirements are complied with.

About you
You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.

Partqualified accountant or extensive and demonstrable experience in a variety of financial roles
Experience in the preparation of accounts to trial balance stage
Bank reconciliations and credit control experience
Ability to be a flexible and cooperative member of a team
