Based in bromborough, Teledyne CML Composites is a fast growing manufacturer, supplying corbon/glass fibre composite parts and assemblies to some of the world's leading aircraft and aero engine producers.

Operating across three distinct product groups namely commercial, defence and business jet products, this role is an opportunity to join a team putting the finishing touches to our highly technical products.

The manufacturing facility houses some of the most advanced machining technology in Europe such as a multi axis NDT robotic machine, automated material cutting machine and mutli axis CNC machining centres.

Position Summary and Responsibilities:


What you'll be involved in:

A real opportunity to join a company long term who are investing in their people through direct 1-2-1 training and developmentResponsible for programing, setting and operating CNC milling machines


Key Responsibilities:


  • Loading and Unloading Machining fixtures
  • Setting our range of Five Axis and Three Axis Machines
  • Using measuring equipment such as micrometres, Vernier's, plug gauges, screw gauges, ring gauges
  • Carrying out regular Maintenance and Cleaning of Machines and Tools.
  • Good understanding of CNC Programming
  • A good understanding of drawings and geometric tolerances
  • Good understanding of component drawings
  • Fanuc Controller experience would be beneficial

Qualifications:


What we're looking for in you:

  • Prior experience using an CNC Machine Essential
  • Experience of working to ISO9001 or AS/EN9100 quality approvals Desirable
  • Experience of working in the aerospace/defence/automotive sector Desirable
