Immediate start opportunity- Entry level finance role
About Our Client:
My client is a local Public Sector Organisation based in central Nottingham, with good transport links easily accessible from wider Nottinghamshire.
Due to a vacancy within the team, my client are looking for an immediate start Sales Ledger to join their Income team.
The Sales Ledger Clerk will be reporting to the Financial Services Team Leader and be required to provide an efficient, customer-focused debtors service to the trust.
The Sales Ledger Clerk will:
- Raise sales invoices and credit notes
- Ensure reminder letters and monthly statements are produced as required
- Participate in chasing individuals for submission of invoices due to be raised
- General finance administration
The Successful Applicant:
- Have a minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
- Possess good numerical and analytical skills to GCSE level
- Have knowledge of financial accounting systems
- Have experience working in a finance team/ office environment
- Have a personable and approachable manner
- Have a customer centric attitude
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
