Harnham has an exciting opportunity for a Model Validation Analyst to be part of the highly specialised Independent Validation Team in Manchester.

This full-time role comes with a salary of up to £55,000 and a generous benefits package.


As a Model Validation Analyst on the Manchester team, you will cover any model that's not market risk, including IFRS9, stress testing, climate risk, and fraud.

Multiple roles are available, with key projects coming up in IRB, IRSF9, and Scorecards.

Hybridworking is available, with 1 day per week in the office or once every few weeks if your location is farther.

To give you an idea of how this flexible Internal Model Validation Analyst role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

  • Review technical documentation describing model development and validation whilst assessing adherence to the relevant regulatory requirements
  • Build collaborative relationships across the business stakeholders
  • Analyse model developments, analyse performance, and construct challenger models
  • Prepare detailed documents for audit and regulatory review which clearly communicate model risks
