Description

As an Apprentice TA in our lovely rural school, with its strong sense of family, you will be supporting teaching staff in development, implementation and evaluation of pupils' progress.

You will support children in class, and work with small groups.


We will guide you through your training and are able to provide you with a wide experience of working with all age groups with primary education.


Apprentice Teaching Assistant L3

Level of Qualification:
Teaching Assistant Level 3

Work Pattern:
Monday to Friday - 8.45am to 3.45pm (30mins for lunch)

Working under the direction of the teacher to raise pupil attainment and maintenance of a well ordered environment.

You will work closely with children to enable them to access a full and rich curriculum within which they can make progress.


_The Role will include:
_


  • Implementing strategies to support pupils such as giving further explanations, adapting work, prompting or encouraging concentration and participation.
  • Assisting with the assessment and recording of pupil progress.
  • Delivering planned activities to small groups or individual pupils.
  • Organising materials and resources for lessons.
  • Promoting inclusive education and integration and helping in the development of relationships by encouraging appropriate interaction between pupils.
  • Supporting the class teacher in managing behaviour and promoting good behaviour around the school.
  • Liaising with the class teacher about individual children's learning.
  • Undertaking playground and lunchtime duties.
  • Complying with the procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and reporting concerns to an appropriate person.
  • Undertaking any other duties reasonably required by the class teacher or Head Teacher.

_Fluency Duty_:


  • In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post._
