Joining the Education Quality Assurance, Intervention and Regulation Service (EQAIRS) will give you an opportunity to be part of an innovative team that makes a difference to the education and safeguarding of children in Norfolk.

Working in our Service will give you the opportunity to influence and provide support and challenge so that Norfolk children and young people receive the very best from their education.

We are pleased to be recruiting a Temporary Attendance Support Assistant.

We are looking for a well organised individual who is efficient, personable and able to demonstrate excellent IT skills, with the ability to undertake routine financial procedures.

You must have excellent communication skills, demonstrate good initiative, work collaboratively with other colleagues and can work under pressure and prioritise workloads.

The role will require the you role to work alongside colleagues from other teams within the EQAIR Service, including the NCC Finance department.

You will also need to work alongside Norfolk schools and HM Courts & Tribunals Service to promote and support pupil attendance.

We are looking for a highly organised and experienced person who can drive improvement to our processes and procedures.

You will need to work on their own initiative and make decisions whilst working in accordance with the legislative framework and local procedures.

You will be expected to understand what is meant by safeguarding vulnerable groups (children, young people and adults) and how to raise concerns.
