It should be understood that this Job is based in Northern Ireland - County Antrim and office based

Essential Criteria:

NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent

NEBOSH Environmental Certificate or working towards it.
Previous experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental role within a fastmoving manufacturing environment.
Experience in accident investigation, root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation.
Experience in the development and implementation of Safety Risk Assessments.
Experience in carrying out Safety Compliance Audits.

Understanding of ISO auditing system
- experience in Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.

Strong communication and influencing skills
Proven organisational and interpersonal skills

Experience dealing with environmental management including recycling and sustainability

Ability to interpret Health and Safety and Environmental legislation into practical working arrangements
Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Assertive abilities with the ability to work on own initiative
Flexible and adaptable
Good timekeeping, attendance and disciplinary records are essential.
