Casual Full Time Welcome Host/Concierge
Location:

Overview
To deliver a high standard of welcome and ensure customer satisfaction ratings are high at all times. To maintain client focused service, politeness, and professional manner at all times.
Key responsibilities
Client Services
- To provide a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to all visitors
- To be able to use an iPad keyboard, register checkins, and advise on which floors/rooms events take place.
- To have a strong visible presence in the entrance hall and venue and assist clients with directions or any general requests
- To handle customer complaints and resolve in a positive, proactive manner
- To communicate customer comments and compliments to the venue team
- To ensure the working area and venue is kept tidy throughout the day
- To build relationships with event organisers, facilitators, clients and delegates alike ensuring all client preferences are recorded and recognised with the aim of giving exceptional customer care
- To assist fellow team members with any client related requirements such as in room catering, servicing and setting up of meeting rooms and overseeing day and evening client functions if necessary
Event and Office Administration
- To ensure that any information is communicated concisely to the rest of the operational team
- To ensure all changes to events are recorded for invoicing purposes
- To check that all guests lists for events are uploaded into the system
- Any other relevant event administration
Service
- To deliver waiting service during service times if and when required in a professional and pleasant manner ensuring excellent client service at all times.
- To assist food and beverages services to meeting rooms and in the restaurant, cleaning and replenishing as appropriate.
- To follow duties and daily plans as directed and as stated on the Rota.
- To ensure all catering areas are left clean and tidy as is reasonably practicable at all times and signing relevant duties off on appropriate cleaning schedules when appropriate
- To assist with washing up in the food services area and ensure catering equipment is kept clean and tidy, in accordance with Health & Safety when appropriate
- To adhere to company training programs and all related documents, and online Flow Trainings.
- To follow and support any reasonable request relevant to the position and the operations of the department.
- To liase with onsite property management when applicable.
- To maintain a happy and helpful manner and attitude throughout working hours, and being an Ambassador to the company
Health and Safety
- To carry out duties in accordance with all Health and Safety regulations and company best practice
- To comply with etc venues and statutory regulations on grooming and personal hygiene standards.
- To wear the correct uniform at all times.
General:
- To be available for staff briefings and company events including attendance at the company seasonal events.
- To be available for weekend work where necessary
- To undertake any reasonable requests for ad hoc duties by the venue team
Competencies
Experience in a similar role with client service experience
Awareness of Health and Safety issues
Good communication skills
Job Types:
Full-time, Zero hours contract
Salary:
£10.00 per hour
