Job Title:
Travel Operations Executive


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the daytoday operations of the travel agency, including overseeing the processing of travel bookings, customer inquiries, and staff performance.
  • Work closely with travel agents and suppliers to ensure that all bookings are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to streamline operations and improve customer service.
  • Monitor the performance of staff members and provide coaching and training as needed to ensure that performance targets are met.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner, and work with staff to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately and that all financial records are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure that the agency is receiving the best possible prices and services.
  • Provide regular reports on operational performance to senior management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.

Requirements:


  • At least 2 years of experience in travel operations management.
  • Strong knowledge of the travel industry, including suppliers, vendors, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with clients and staff members in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and develop solutions to operational issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with travel booking systems and financial management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to lead and motivate staff members.

Salary:
£28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
