Job Title:
Travel Operations Executive
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daytoday operations of the travel agency, including overseeing the processing of travel bookings, customer inquiries, and staff performance.
- Work closely with travel agents and suppliers to ensure that all bookings are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to streamline operations and improve customer service.
- Monitor the performance of staff members and provide coaching and training as needed to ensure that performance targets are met.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner, and work with staff to resolve any issues that arise.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately and that all financial records are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure that the agency is receiving the best possible prices and services.
- Provide regular reports on operational performance to senior management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in travel operations management.
- Strong knowledge of the travel industry, including suppliers, vendors, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with clients and staff members in a professional and courteous manner.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and develop solutions to operational issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with travel booking systems and financial management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to lead and motivate staff members.
Salary:
£28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
