Quality Control Inspector

Job title:
Quality Control Inspector


Location:
Govan or Scotstoun, Glasgow


Salary:
Up to £38,000 depending on experience and skills


What you'll be doing:


  • Work as a fully contributory member of the Quality team
  • Responsible for supporting the Quality Management team in addressing planned tasks
  • Undertake routine Quality inspection activities in their related area with mínimal supervision
  • Liaise / interface with appropriate areas of the business and build effective relationships
  • Report results of inspections using agreed processes
  • The ability to write reports and presentations ensuring accuracy and clarity of meaning

Your skills and experiences:


Essential:


  • Time served trades person with experience post apprenticeship
  • The ability to interpret specifications, procedures, and contract requirements
  • The ability to use technology and tools applicable to the discipline

Desirable:


  • Industry recognised qualifications in welding inspection discipline (CSWIP or NDT qualifications)
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication with all relevant areas on a regular basis

The Welding and Inspection team:


You will be working alongside a diverse and multi-disciplined team, undertaking inspections of the product during build in accordance with the relevant inspection and test plans.
