We are currently seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to work on contracts at a number of sites within the Midlands and Lincolnshire area undertaking "on site" general daily grounds maintenance activities.


Job description - The Role


Within the role as a Grounds Maintenance Operator, team-work and/or lone working is essential to ensure that an excellent standard of work is delivered at all times.

You will be undertaking grounds maintenance including strimming/brush-cutting and potentially spraying herbicide with occasional larger projects.


This is a varied role and you must be able to work both as a team and on your own initiative to meet the strict deadlines our clients require and undertake all grounds maintenance works to specification achieving the highest standards at all times.


Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Strimming & Hedge cutting
  • Herbicidal spraying
  • Seasonal Planting Trees, Whips, Shrubs & Bulbs

Requirements:


  • Must drive and be happy to travel to multiple sites from base location
  • Generally fit and well able to carry out physical work
  • Be punctual, hard working and keep to specific time schedules
  • The ability to pass regular adhoc Drug and alcohol tests
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Previous experience would be beneficial however necessary training can be provided.

Preferred

  • Valid CSCS Card
  • PA1, PA2, PA6 Spraying and other relevant Garden or Horticultural qualifications are advantageous.

  • Salary £11 £15.00 per hour
