Key Responsibilities:
_

Procurement Excellence: Lead and contribute to strategic procurement initiatives within the Rail Industry, with a specific focus on construction and capex procurement.

NEC Contract Management: Demonstrate proficiency in managing NEC contracts, ensuring compliance and optimal outcomes.
-
Strategic Sourcing and Category Management: Implement and oversee strategic sourcing strategies, emphasizing category management principles to enhance procurement effectiveness.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders at various levels, providing procurement expertise and influencing decision-making processes.

Project Leadership: Lead and contribute to procurement projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.


_Senior Procurement Consultant (Rail Industry), Required Background and Qualifications:_

Rail Industry Expertise: Extensive experience within the Rail Industry, particularly in construction and/or capex procurement.

NEC Contract Mastery: Proven track record in managing NEC contracts, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of their nuances.

Procurement Consultancy Experience: Previous experience as a Procurement specialist, ideally within the Rail Industry, showcasing expertise in strategic sourcing and category management.

Stakeholder Management Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Education and Certification: Relevant educational background and professional certifications in procurement are advantageous (CIPS / RICS)
