Description
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our teams as Trainee Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners.

These are exciting new roles which have been jointly created by Health Education England (HEE) and NHS England and Improvement (NHSEI) to support the transformation of adult community mental health services.

The training takes one year and during this time the roles are fully funded by the NHS at band 4.

When you pass the course, you will be eligible for a full-time qualified position at Band 5. In return, we ask that you commit to staying with us for at least two years after you qualify.

The six training roles are supported within our adult community mental health services (CMHTs) and Mental Health Integrated Community Services (MHICS).

During this period, you will be enrolled on the graduate or postgraduate certificate course that delivers the national curriculum for Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners.

You will be expected to travel to Oxford and attend all elements of the programme of study to progress successfully through assessments of competence and attainment.

During the remaining part of the week, you will be working as a trainee within your allocated service, under close supervision and regular assessment to ensure you develop the required practice competence.

Interviews to be held 23/24th August 2023
