Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking an Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their team on a locum basis.

ROLE:
Adult Care Lawyer


LOCATION:
London / full remote


CONTRACT:3 months ongoing


RATE:
£50.00 to £60.00 per hour


The Role

  • To manage a full caseload and provide legal advice in relation to adult social care matters
  • To provide legal and procedural advice to Members and Officers relating to Adult Social Care law matters
  • To assist more junior members of staff when required to do so

The Person

  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 3 years' PQE within Adult Social Care Law
  • Previous working experience at a local authority would be essential for this position
  • Comfortable in managing a full caseload of complex matters
  • Experience of advising on cases in Courts, Tribunals, and Inquiries, including undertaking public inquiries and judicial reviews
