ESNEFT are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and highly organised individual with excellent communication skills to join our team as a Rota Co-ordinator.

Please note this is a part time position at 22.5 hours per week and will be a job share.

  • Responsible for the coordination of doctors A&E rotas, compiling and ensuring rotas are distributed daily to all relevant parties updating white board in Majors for daily changes in staffing.
  • Liaise and discuss with consultants future staffing needs relating to the rota, taking account of the skill mix. Assisting in devising alternatives when suitable doctors are unable to be found to fill vacant shifts. Making sure that the right doctor is in the right place at the right time on the rota.
  • Upload registrars' master rota on a monthly basis, checking doctors templates with consultant in charge and notifying registrar of any changes in their shift patterns.
  • Help organise shift patterns for new doctors until they can be incorporated into the main rota. Liaise with doctors who are on secondment to establish availability.
