What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:
You will Support the Director of Compliance, Risk & Audit in the design and development of the 12 month and 3-year, 2nd line of defence audit programme.
You will Own Sigma's Audit Policy, Strategy, and framework, ensuring it is reviewed annually and approved by the Executive.You will Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, building strong stakeholder relationships and fostering an open, collaborative, 'audit friendly' culture to ensure full support of the audit process.
You will Ensure that Audit is a value-add exercise, that it is transparent and impartial, engaging, and free of fear.
You will work with the business to define innovative and positive solutions when addressing audit findings.You will monitor and report on audit actions, supporting business areas and stakeholders in their timely delivery and closure, agreeing achievable timelines and milestones, and checking in regularly in a positive manner.
You will guide the Compliance Assurance Team to publish well written, well presented, succinct reports.You will ensure that all reviews are followed up within 24 months to carry out attestation reviews and ensure that recommendations and action outputs have been adopted, embedded, and are functioning effectively.
You will work closely with the Director of Compliance, Risk and Audit, to provide monthly updates to the Executive and facilitate the Annual Audit Committee.
You will collate outputs from other Audit activity such as Client Audits, ISO9001, 27001, PCI, Financial etc to create a single view of assurance and will re-build the Audit Strategy from the ground up, taking on oversight for 3rd line reviews (such as external audit, ISO, client audits etc), supporting the supplier review process, and internal 2nd line audit and assurance.
