Fg - Civils Operative - Operations T&e - England, United Kingdom - Freedom Group
Description
Freedom Networks Operations team are looking for a Civils Gang of two people who will be responsible for the general ground-work and supporting with installation and signage functions.
We are looking for a team player with the relevant industry experience, and someone who is eventually looking to progress into a supervision and on site management role.
Key duties and responsibilities- Excavation works including service trenching
- Operation of small highways maintenance plant and equipment
- Carry out ground surveys and locate underground services using cable avoidance tools (Training will be given)
- Reading designs
- Reinstatement of cable joint bays and cable installation
- Installation of electrical cable (Training can be provided)
- To carry out and continuously review hazards and risks associated with each project
- To ensure site safety and working safely.
- To highlight any concerns, unsafe conditions or acts to your line manager
- Understanding of the Electrical Safety rules (training can be given)
- NRSWA/EUSR/CSCS cards
- Mechanical Excavators/CPCS/NPORS cards
- Understanding of the Interpretation of mains records (Training can be given)
- Manual handling training (Training given)
- Winch Training (Training given)
- Towing Licence (Training given)
- First Aid (Training given)
- Risk assessment training (Training given)
- Knowledge of Use of hydraulically operated plant and equipment (Training given)
- Cable avoidance/abrasive wheel training (Training given)
