Key Information

Full-time role Monday to Friday

Start date January (2023)

Competitive daily rate of pay £90-£150 p/d (dependant on experience)

A specialist secondary provision based in the Burnley area are looking to hire a Science Teacher to begin full-time from January (Flexible on the start date).

The school may want the successful applicant to attend a trial day at the school before acceptingthe role.

As they are a secondary provision, they cater for pupils with a range of additional needs aged 11-19 years who require additional support the successful applicant will need to become a positive role model for all pupils promoting a safe and happylearning and growing space for all.

The schools is based in the Burnley area and is keen to provide their students with additional support for both their educational and holistic development.

As a Science Teacher you will be required to differentiate planning and teaching to suit the needsof your pupils whilst keeping in line with the National Curriculum The school incorporate intervention sessions into their general class teaching to further promote the pupil's progression both educationally and holistically, your role will be to ensureall support staff within the class are kept up to date with routines and planning to ensure they are able to correctly support the pupils within their care.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
