Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks to support the office operations
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records, including filing
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including purchase ledger
- PPE ordering, allocating and record keeping
- Recording of training, inductions etc.
- Enhancing the company profile on various social media platforms (Facebook, X, etc).
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in computerized systems, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of 'Farm Plan' is desirable. Ability to learn IT systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, including handling of post
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and experience
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
Salary:
£12.50 per hour
