Interim Project Accountant with Business Central / Dynamics experience

Charity People are working with a leading international education organisation to help recruit an Interim Project Accountant with Business Central / Microsoft Dynamics experience This is a contract role till June 2023 and this role will be reporting to theHead of Finance.

The pay rate for this role is £180 per day plus holiday pay.

Your main responsibilities are:

Lead Business partner for all divisions to ensure a standardised approach to business partnering, including consolidation of forecast and budget preparation.
Support the new finance system (Business Central) implementation project (including code & transaction mapping)
Lead on new reports under the new finance system and structure
Prepare a standardise templates for all donors reporting requirement
Lead on simplifying and automation of reporting using the new system
Lead process improvement projects
Document all processes & procedures within the finance department
Other duties as requested

Person specification:

Qualified/Partqualified accountant
Experience of internal and external financial reporting
Experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 systems or similar
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent numeracy and Advance Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills appropriate to dealing with people at all levels.
Experience of working within a charity and charity accounting
