Hours

7am-4pm - Monday to Thursday

7am-12pm - Friday

Job description
You will be trained in the day to day running of the sampling department and the sampling dispatch department.

You will be responsible for many aspects of the process of sample making; from cutting carpet to labelling and dispatching of the finished samples and related marketing materials.

Duties - Sample Department

The cutting of samples using the cutting machine
The whipping of samples
The labelling of samples
The wrapping and distribution of unit samples to sales Representatives

Postal service

Labelling and packing customer sample requests for distribution.

Duties - Sample Dispatch Department

Receipt of all Marketing materials and carpet.
Storing neatly and accurately all the materials.
Picking and collating marketing materials to order for dispatch.
Wrapping and preparing all the materials for dispatch.
Loading or posting the materials as required.
Assisting the merchandiser in preparing materials for delivery.
Use of CRM computer software
Taking postal items to the local post office sorting centre

Responsibilities

With a responsible attitude, you will work in a safe and clean environment by ensuring that all policies and procedures are maintained and adhered to at all times.
You are responsible for reporting any safety issues immediately with your line manger

Requirements:

Counterbalance license and basic computer skills preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
