Due to expansion in our Business Development team we have a brand-new opportunity for an experienced
Bid Writer to join our team.


This role will report to one of our Bid Managers/Senior Bid Manager and will be responsible for creating technically sound and customer centric content for a large volume of bids across multiple service lines.

In addition, you will also focus on developing the look and feel of our bid documents in order for them to reflect our business culture and values.

Who are we looking for?


If you have a passion for the environment and sustainability and are looking for a role where you are encouraged to become an expert in all of the fantastic work we are doing then this is the role for you We are looking for someone who can use their in depth industry knowledge to articulate solutions for our customers requirements that are in line with their strategy and needs.

You will also be encouraged within this role to use your creative flair to develop speculative proposals and go above the usual Q&A of Bid Writing.

A track record of success in winning and retaining contracts is also essential, particularly in grounds maintenance/arboriculture/landscaping/vegetation management services.

The Bid Management team operates at high pace with multiple internal stakeholders, therefore an ability to work collaboratively and well under pressure is essential.


In addition, you will need:

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Independently managing a fluctuating workload while keeping to tight deadlines
  • Strong organisational and analytical experience
  • Able to work independently with fluctuating workloads and to tight deadlines
  • Experience within the grounds maintenance/FM sector is highly desirable but not essential
