We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst for a high-profile assignment with the UK Government.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and maintain complex data models, dashboards and reports utilising Power BI, Power Query, MDX, DAX, T-SQL.
Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes, including data warehousing, data preparation, data gateways, and O365 connectors.
Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to understand their data and reporting requirements, and translate these into functional and technical specifications.
Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint deployments and associated structures and permission models.
Work collaboratively with the wider IT teams to identify, diagnose and resolve issues with data, reports and dashboards.
Keep uptodate with the latest BI technologies and techniques, and provide recommendations for improvements to existing systems and processes.

Requirements:

Extensive experience of data warehousing, data preparation, data gateways and O365 connectors.
Strong experience utilising tools and systems on the BI Stack, including Power BI, Power Query, MDX, DAX, T-SQL.
Detailed knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint deployments and associated structures and permission models.
Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience in the UK Government sector is highly desirable.
