Job Summary:
We are seeking to employ a "Transport Administrator" to join our well-established team based in Widnes, Cheshire. This is an amazing opportunity to progress in our forward thinking, award winning and ambitious business.
The role would perfectly suit an ambitious, self-driven individual with a passion for the transport industry who is looking to expand their knowledge to become an integral part of our dynamic team and quickly progress within the business.
Responsibilities:
- Administration of daily worksheet record including proof of delivery etc
- Liaison with customers / partner network for collection / deliveries
- Input of orders to the internal traffic management system
- Assist in the vehicle maintenance and service records
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Administration tasks as applicable to maintain company records
- Familiarisation of on site Health & Safety
Experience:
- Experience in an administrative role preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with basic clerical procedures
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of office procedures
- Strong personal skills of problem solving, communication and teamwork
- Familiarity with computerised systems for administrative tasks
Pay:
£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
