Location-Dyce, Aberdeen - may be requested to work at other local sites

Nippon Gases Offshore does NOT use job boards, ONLY Company Career Site and LinkedIn

Job Function:


To progress Store/Workshop activities in a timely manner, liaise with all departments and the Company Computer Systems to ensure customer requirements are met.


Key Tasks/Responsibilities:

Comply with the Business Management System including Quality, Safety, and Environmental requirements as appropriate
Maintain own working environment ensuring personnel safety
Wear mandatory PPE and highlight others to do so
Ensure that equipment you and others use is to a safe standard
Working on day to day activities of the Stores Department and the Company distribution
Maintaining stock levels
Locating goods from Stores and tracking their movements
Receiving and checking goods against Purchase order
Assisting in the yard organisation and management (Returning equipment/Inward QC checking/processing of equipment as per company procedures)
3rd party rental management, receipts and returns are done in a timely manner in accordance with the company procedures

Medical Gas Handling - including receipt and processing of cylinders from 3rd party; storage on the Company site; delivery to authorised customers only; return processes.

Implementing Control Measures as identified in Task Based Risk Assessment
Stock check report as requested by line manager
The Company reserves the right to require you to perform other duties from time to time, and it is a condition of your employment that you are prepared to do this

Job requirements


Qualifications:

Educated to secondary school level or equivalent (to include basic ability in Arithmetic, English Reading and Writing skills)


Critical Competencies/Skills:

Excellent English communication skills - verbal and written
Excellent attendance & time-keeping
Action oriented
Counterbalance Forklift certificate
Competent in use of the Company Computer Systems
Demonstrate competency to work to relevant Company Procedures
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and/ or effectively as part of a team
