Job Overview:
We are seeking a Volunteer Receptionist to join our team.

As a Volunteer Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations at our organization.

This is an unpaid volunteer position leads to a permanent paid role. passion.


Responsibilities:


  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
  • Provide general information to callers and visitors
  • Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
  • Assist with organizing and scheduling appointments or meetings
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure inventory is wellstocked
  • Assist with mail distribution and sorting
  • Help maintain a clean and organized reception area

Skills:


  • Proficiency in using computerized systems, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping
  • Ability to type efficiently and accurately
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
