Territory Account Manager - Food & Beverage

Location:


  • 4 days per week in the car, 1 day per week in your remote home office.

Region:


  • Anywhere on the M6 corridor from Birmingham to Manchester, or nearby. From Darby through to Wales.

Job Profile Summary:


In this role you will offer technical advice for our customers' in-situ cleaning, so that they can get the most out of our products.

By creating a close relationship with the customers, you will also ensure the continued cooperation, and also seek further areas in which we can support them.

Typical customers are breweries and producers of bottles water, juices and many other beverages.

Additionally they include food manufacturers from meat and ready meals through canned goods, grains and pasta to bakeries and confectionery producers.


You will also be working with colleagues to ensure key customer requirements are understood and matched with the services provided by Diversey.

The clear goal is satisfied customers and sales growth.


The main tasks of the Strategic Account Manager are:

  • Consistently building long-term relationships with customers and positioning Diversey correctly
  • Drafting the commercial strategy and translating this into effective year and action plans
  • Responsible for the rollout of product introductions and the development of strategic partnerships
  • Relationship management, with a strong focus on longterm partnerships
  • Acquisition of new business with existing accounts.
  • Advising customers and generating custom solutions
  • Working closely with colleagues from the Knowledge Base Service and Marketing department, among others.

Required Qualifications

Either:

  • A) A Bachelor in Food Technology or Chemistry, Microbiology etc.

OR:

  • B) Internal training and experience in production, quality or Hygiene.
  • Several years' experience in the food, beverage or dairy sector.
  • Experience with Hygiene or CIP
  • Valid driving license
  • Authorization to work in the UK
  • Fluent English

Preferred Qualification

  • Sales or other customer experience is an advantage, but is also something we can teach you.
