What's involved with this role:


Interim PQ / Correspondence Drafter - Administrator -Hybrid Working - PSR 1JP

JOB INFO:
A PQ / Correspondence Drafter - Administrator is needed on a contract basis for approx. 12 months.

You will be working with drafting teams to ensure that high standard responses to Parliamentary questions are returned to Parliament.

You will liaise with other departments to arrange the transfer of questions in a timely manner.


What you'll do:


  • Working with drafting teams to ensure high standard responses to Parliamentary questions are returned to Parliament
  • Liaising with other Departments to arrange the transfer of questions in a timely manner;
  • Working with Private Offices to ensure that drafts take account of Ministerial preferences;
  • Liaising with policy teams to obtain the latest information in order to respond to customer enquiries on all business;
  • Providing administrative support to a busy private office
  • Completing work to a high standard and within strict deadlines.

  • Review own work and strive to improve on the service being provided to the Department and our customers;

  • Be flexible and adaptable in supporting others across the unit;
  • Demonstrate excellent judgment and initiative.
