Hours:08:30 - 17:00, Monday - Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Centre Customer Advisor within our Grangemouth site.


Reporting to the Operations Director, you will ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer enquiries for standard stock and quotation & procurement of special stock items whilst maintaining the highest level of customer service.

There will be a requirement for product sourcing for tender opportunities and also some escalation management and resolution from the day to day business whilst maintaining the highest level of customer service coupled with a "can do" positive attitude.


The role;


You will ensure 1st class customer service to both internal and external customers, to quote product to meet customer requirements within the framework of the Company's ethos, ensure the log and monitoring of all customer calls as appropriate and building relationships with customers and team members.


Performance Measures

  • Positive telephone call handling.
  • Accurate quotation processing in the required timeframe
  • Attention to detail when selecting items for quote or tender to ensure they reach required standards.
  • Margin attained on specials and nonagreed items.


You will have previous experience within a similar industry, demonstrate high levels of customer service and have an eye for detail.

For this role you must have an excellent telephone manner and be able to multi-task. You must be literate in Microsoft office programmes and have strong prioritisation skills. Being positive, confident and holding a flexible work ethic is key to success.
