Catch22 has designed and delivered services that build resilience and aspiration in people and communities for over 200 years, and the Angus Knight Group is a major provider of human services across Australia and a skills provider in the UK.


With the support and experience of these established organisations, we are building a new approach to helping individuals who may have been out of work for a significant period of time, to find employment.


We have a dedicated team of supportive coaches, skills trainers, occupational health advisors and labour market analysts, all focused on inspiring and motivating individuals to overcome barriers they may have to get back into meaningful and sustainable employment.


As part of a new government initiative, we are working with employers, local government and other partners to deliver tailored support for individuals across several parts of the UK.


Our mission is to deliver a thoughtful, effective and commercial approach to helping individuals create better lives for themselves and their local communities, through work.


About the Role


The Employer Services Consultant is responsible for partnering with employers in multiple sectors, assessing their workforce development needs and developing strategies to enhance employer labour market demands.


You will work directly with job seekers and connect them to existing employment and develop opportunities based on participant and employer needs.

Developing new relationships with employers in a variety of industries is key to success in this role. You will advise employers on recruitment approaches and techniques required to support participants to secure work e.g. personality-based interviews, work trials.


Working in partnership with other specialists, you will also be able to advise employers of specialist support or adjustments that may be required for a participant.


By maintaining a good understanding of the local/regional labour market and employer needs, you will be able to inform the operational delivery of required sector-specific skill training.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Knowledge of current labour market trends, the impact of COVID19 on the labour market, job search techniques and employment research methods.
  • Experience of working in the employment and skills sector and delivering to specified targets, quality standards and compliance measures is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven record of demonstrating tact and diplomacy when facing challenging situations.
  • Good administration, IT and organisational skills with good experience of using MS office software.
  • Desire to work in a new, dynamic startup organisation, where there is a need to be both creative and pragmatic.
