Guardian Hygiene Services Ltd are looking for a qualified Legionella Risk Assessor (C&G Hot and Cold Water systems or equivalent)

We have a new opportunity for a Legionella Risk Assessor.

The role will involve visiting multiple sites per day to undertake Legionella risk assessments, water system monitoring and maintenance tasks covering the West Midlands and sites throughout the UK.

Your key responsibilities are:

• Undertake site Legionella risk assessments of domestic water systems in accordance with L
• Produce reports detailing remedial actions including a schematic drawing which can be completed at home
• Undertake routine maintenance activities, e.g. Descaling and cleaning of shower heads and outlets
• Complete water monitoring sites onsite using an app based system

Required Skills:

• City in Guilds Legionella in hot & cold water systems or equivalent
• At least 2 years' experience of working within the water hygiene industry
• Excellent organisation/time keeping skills working to deadlines
• Confident and clear communication skills
• Selfmotivated, using own initiative, want to learn new skills and achieve
• You may be required to travel around the UK with occasional overnight stay (hotel paid for by company)
• Full Clean Driving Licence

Salary will be between 24k - 29k depending on experience

Legionella Risk Assessments:

• Water Temperature Monitoring
• Disinfection (Hot and Cold Systems)
• Water Sampling
• TMV Servicing and failsafe checks
• Showerhead descale and disinfections
• Cold water storage tank inspections
• Calorifier Checks
• Minor Plumbing Remedial Works

Preferred locations would be 50 mile radius of Cambridge, the view to travel if required as Guardian has a Nationwide client base with several sites/contracts across the UK and Northern Ireland.

Salary, package and benefits will be discussed at interview and will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
