Night Time Food Production Assistant at Farm Girl Fulham (£13/h)


Farm Girl have an exciting opportunity for a full time Food production Assistant with night shifts, to join their prep team.

We are looking for someone who has a keen interest in the hospitality industry, who shares a passion for healthy, wholesome and nourishing food.

You will be making Vietnamese summer rolls, which uses the same technique as making sushi rolls.


Our prep kitchen is located in Fulham (Imperial Wharf) and is responsible to provide the shops and events with their prep.

There will be no à la carte service involved.
_Heavy lifting is involved_

Roles Responsibilities & Duties

Approach
  • Maintain an enthusiastic, engaged, and passionate approach to food and great service, with the ability to cope under pressure.

Training
  • Keeping updated and participate in training of:
  • Preparation and plating of all food items
- knowledge of menu.

  • Food hygiene standards.
  • Health & safety.

Teamwork and communication
  • Understanding the importance of teamwork

Cleanliness
  • Ensure the kitchen maintains the highest levels of cleanliness, organisation and hygiene at all times.

Food consistency*
  • Ensure food quality is exceptional and consistent with all prep items being made to spec.

Stock ordering and control - Efficient communication with the kitchen team or Kitchen Manager to ensure sufficient daily stock.

Wastage and stock rotation - Monitor and record all wastage.


Role Requirements

  • An interest in food production
  • Being able to travel to Fulham (Imperial Wharf).
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience of working independently.
  • Sushi rolling experience, preferred.
