The Head of Quality and Business Excellence is a role that is critical to business success, it ignites change within the organisation and is critical in delivering a sustainable future and successful business.
A Snapshot of Your Day
To manage the team responsible for Business Excellence and governance of the Small Gas Turbines (SGT) Quality Management System, ensuring continual improvement of processes and products and compliance to all regulatory requirements.
Direct resources to conduct and support improvement projects within the business related to HSE, quality and people management standards, also ensuring that SGT processes are fit for purpose through effective use of Quality Management techniques.
To identify improvement opportunities that improve business processes, reduce waste and variation to impact our product cost.How You'll Make an Impact
Support the business to ensure that products are delivered on time within cost and quality requirements
Identify and deliver improvement opportunities and activities required to maintain and improve capability/efficiency and output for both the short and longer term.
Ensure effective communication of strategies and objectives to create an environment of continuous improvement, team working and good industrial relations
What You Bring
- Management experience in both a projects and manufacturing environment
- Experience in a quality and business improvement environments
- Experienced in management of team
- Able and willing to travel
- Understanding of continuous improvement, agile and lean techniques to Black Belt level
- Management qualification desirable

Gas Services
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
