    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse preferably with trainings in the delivery of Systematic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) although not essential as training, will be given, to join the dynamic Turner Ward and Ricky Grant day units team.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced nurse who has a keen interest in developing their skills in Oncology and Haematology, within a ward and or day unit settings. This would include co-ordinating and supervising a shift, communicating effectively with members of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality evidence led care to patients.

    What you can add:

    • Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
    • Checking symptoms and vital signs and arranging diagnostic tests
    • Displaying excellent analytical ability and sound decision making in changing clinical situations
    • Working as an effective team member and promoting team and interdisciplinary relationships

    The role will involve but not be limited to you performing the above.

    What you'll need:

    • A minimum of 6 months paid experience within an oncology ward environment within the last 3 years
    • SACT training (preferably)
    • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices

    *Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
