To coordinate all site training for the manufacturing operation. To maintain compliance to statutory training and ensure

Responsibilities:


  • Working with HR and HSE Team to create relevant inhouse training programmes and resources for all employees
  • Selecting the most appropriate training methods and activities
  • Performing needs assessment to identify knowledge gaps and areas in need of improvement
  • Supporting operations management with training matrices and compliance
  • Ensuring training validation is audited
  • Liaising with management and HR / HSE to create annual site training plans
  • Researching and recommending new training techniques to HR, creating the curriculum and updating it to reflect developments within the industry
  • Booking and end to end coordination of statutory training, ensuing systems are up to date
  • Monitoring compliance to annual / refresher training
  • Support special processes training
  • Source correct and best value external training and coordinate all PO's / invoices / payments
  • To support and administer apprenticeship programmes
Skills, Experience & Qualification

Desirable Requirements:

Demonstrable Experience of:

  • Working within Manufacturing Operations
  • Managing and maintaining health, safety and environment standards and processes.
  • Ability to organise and coordinate in ever changing circumstances
  • Ability to influence without having line manager accountability
  • Training others in a manufacturing environment
Qualities & Attributes

  • Excellent awareness and attention to HSE and Quality standards, requirements and processes.
  • Demonstrable ability to plan and organise.
  • Demonstrable communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Formal training qualification
  • ILM or equivalent would be advantageous
