Workshop Team Member_

Starting salary £12.70 per hour with a 4 day week (Mon - Thurs 7.30am to 4.45pm), pension scheme and statutory holiday time.

Full training provided during the 3 month probationary period.

1-2 years experience in a similar production role is highly desirable. You must be confident in a workshop environment such as carpentry, panel production, or other hands-on work.

Tasks

Materials preparation (this involves processing raw materials so that they are ready for use).
Casting
Sanding panels with large industrial calibration machines
Finishing panels to a high standard by machine
Hand sanding and finishing
Lacquering
Packaging and shipping

Requirements:

Superb attention to detail
Physically capable
Handson approach and willing to learn new things
Clean, tidy, and thorough
Experience working with wood, concrete, and other sheet materials.

Desirable

2+ years experience in a similar role.
Relevant qualifications.
Experience working with industrial machinery such as bandsaws, mixing machines, and sanding machines.
Forklift license would be desirable. (Not essential).
Knowledge of health and safety.
Casting

or resin pouring experience would be desirable.
