About the role:


We have a great opportunity in the Isleworth area to join the team at Mogden Sewage Treatment Works as a Process Technician, helping ensure our wastewater treatment works are runs safely, efficiently, with no impact to local environment or our neighbours.


Your role will involve:


  • Playing an active part in Health & Safety on site. There is nothing more important than looking after the health, safety, and wellbeing of everyone on site
  • Carrying out minor planned maintenance and routine checks on the sewage processing equipment
  • Sampling and monitoring the sludge treatment process to sustain environmental compliance and plant efficiency
  • Ensuring the sludge processing plant's housekeeping delivers a safe, clean environment for all to work in
  • Reacting to equipment failure, diagnosing process faults, carrying out remedial works to return the equipment to service
  • Managing various deliveries including chemicals and play a part in ensuring sufficient stock levels are maintained of parts, chemicals and lubricants are maintained.
All necessary training and equipment such as vehicles and tools will be provided. Working hours for this role will be approx.

07:30 - 15:30, Mon-Fri. When appropriately qualified, you may have the opportunity to be part of a callout rota. The call out coversout of hours work and weekend working as and when the situation dictates. Additionally, opportunities to work ad hoc overtime will be offered as and when needed.

We are looking for you to have:


  • Ideally previous experience in a similar industrial environment would be beneficial, but is not essential
  • we welcome people who are keen to learn
  • Comfortable working in the treatment process in one of the UK's largest Sewage Treatment Works

Familiar working with computers, including the inputting of data, computers are the key tool for you to manage and report your work.

  • A team player, a selfstarter wanting to make a difference and be passionate about your personal development.

Must have a valid full UK driving licence
