Based in High Wycombe, this Payroll Specialist (Hybrid) position would be looking after one Payroll Administrator and responsible for processing the payroll, for the permanent members of staff.

Description

Payroll Specialist (Hybrid) - Responsibilities

  • Administer Payroll accurately in accordance with their contractual terms and conditions of employment.
  • To ensure that payroll spreadsheets are completed and are input into the system
  • Complete all payroll deductions, both statutory and others, are correctly calculated
  • To liaise with the external payroll provider
  • Accurately prepare journals and posted in a timely manner
  • Payroll year end processing, for all payrolls managed
  • To assist and provide analysis, as required, for the accounting year end e.g. analysis for auditors etc.
  • To keep up to date with current employment legislation e.g. PAYE, national insurance, pension legislation etc.
  • Responsible for the development of the Payroll Administrator
  • To be responsible for any payroll queries

Profile

The Successful Payroll Specialist (Hybrid)...

  • Previous Payroll UK exposure is essential
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Packages in Particular Excel
  • Payroll Qualifications not essential but highly desirable
  • Previous People management desirable
