We currently have an opportunity for a Critical Care Scientists (CCS's) to join our warm and friendly team.


As a CCS, you will be a specially trained healthcare scientist, working collaboratively as part of a multi-professional team providing scientific expertise and knowledge of the physiology and technology involved in the delivery of care to critically ill patients.


You will be a multi-skilled and adaptable with wide ranging functions that assist in the provision of high-quality care, supporting advanced clinical practice, development of clinical services and adoption of new technologies in response to scientific innovations and undertaking scientific and clinical roles, including working directly with patients and providing advice to medical, nursing and other staff in the critical care setting about the safe and effective use of medical devices.


Main duties include equipment management, providing training and development, responsibility for point of care testing (POCT) and participating in the transfer of critically ill patients.
