Do you have a keen eye for detail and a dedication to upholding professional standards? 3D Recruit is currently seeking a diligent and experienced LADO (Local Authority Designated Officer) Service Reviewer to join this team.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of safeguarding processes and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people.

It is a locum role where you will be on an initial 3-month contract with the potential to be extended


As a LADO Service Reviewer within this team, you will have the following responsibilities:


  • Reviewing LADO Cases: As a LADO Service Reviewer, you will be responsible for conducting thorough reviews of cases referred to the Local Authority Designated Officer. This will involve examining case files, assessing the appropriateness of decisions made, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Quality Assurance: You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of safeguarding practice within the organization. This will include identifying areas for improvement, providing feedback to practitioners, and developing strategies to enhance the effectiveness of safeguarding processes.

Training and Development: Collaborating with colleagues and external partners, you will contribute to the design and delivery of training programs on safeguarding issues. This may involve facilitating workshops, developing training materials, and providing guidance on best practices in child protection.

Policy Development: Keeping abreast of legislative changes and best practice guidelines, you will contribute to the development and review of safeguarding policies and procedures. Your insights and expertise will help ensure that the organization remains compliant with relevant regulations and standards.

Partnership Working: Building effective partnerships with key stakeholders, including social care teams, police, education professionals, and other agencies, will be essential. By fostering collaborative working relationships, you will facilitate the sharing of information and promote a multi-agency approach to safeguarding.


Requirements:


  • 4 years of qualified Social Work experience
  • Direct & enduring successful experience as a LADO
  • 5 years of satisfactory references
  • Driving License with access to a vehicle
  • SWE Registered
