Our client is a regional provider of housing that help to provide affordable decent homes for the rent, regeneration, and revival of communities in South Yorkshire.

We are currently recruiting on their behalf for an experienced Customer Service professional on a temporary 3 month basis.

The role would be full time working Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, office-based, and would offer a supportive environment andexcellent benefits.

There is potential for the role to become permanent.

Please find below a summary of the duties:

Recording all Customer Service inbound and outbound communication using the associations CRM system
Diagnosing repairs correctly at first point of contact where possible, ensuring the appropriate repairs service standards are met
Liaise with local authorities, service commissioners and support agencies where required
Supporting the wider team to help provide rehousing advice to customers, creating and monitoring new home advertisements, and providing swift administrative support for all areas of the void and allocation process
Develop and maintain great relationships across the association to promote and influence colleagues to ensure our values and behaviours are embedded in the business
Take ownership of all Informal Complaints at first point of contact and seeking a swift and appropriate resolution for the customer when a service failure has been identified
Record and distribute all incoming post to appropriate colleagues within the association, and arrange for all outgoing post to be printed and delivered daily
Continuously demonstrate excellent customer service and keep tenants up to date with all areas of their home and tenancy where required

This role would be ideal for someone who has worked in a contact centre environment or experience of working within social housing.
