Description

RPS has a range of long-term framework agreements with Scottish Water, and we are looking for
Hydraulic Wastewater Modeller to be based in either our
Glasgow or
Edinburgh offices.


About The Team:


RPS Water Technical is a team of Engineers, Modellers and Data Analysts providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy development, to our Water Industry clients to support business planning and delivery.

This is an evolving industry, providing challenges and opportunities which require innovation, dedication and teamwork to help us meet our clients' needs.


About You:

-
2 to 3 years' experience in hydraulic modelling, ideally in Wastewater

  • Experience of
    InfoWorks ICM and
    GIS packages
  • BSc/BEng Engineering (or related e.g. Geography) degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to Clients

Your Responsibilities:


  • Involved in a range of Hydraulic Modelling projects for our clients
  • Model building, verification and hydraulic assessment including option design
  • Using models to assess catchment flooding, overflow performance and water quality
  • Supervising, guiding and mentoring graduate modellers
  • Working alongside Senior Modellers and Team Leaders to assist with key decisions
