Description
This is a stand alone role as HR Director.

You will be joining a growing Financial Services that has been set up following the acquisition of 3 smaller companies.

There will be a mix of both operational and strategic business partnering. You will develop and implement HR policies which will position the business as an employer of choice. You will also develop, monitor and implement the business's people managementstrategy.

You will be joining a growing company based outside London, in the Guildford area.


You will be joining a Financial Services / Wealth Management company that has been set up following the acquisition of 3 smaller companies.

There are plans to grow through acquisition.


Description
This is a stand alone role as HR Director. There will be a mix of both operational and strategic business partnering. You will develop and implement HR policies which will position the business as an employer of choice.

You will also develop, monitor andimplement the business's people management strategy, to include:


Operational

  • Manage all offers, contracts and the on boarding of new employees.
  • Manage all administration relating to the day to day operation of the business to include absence, sickness, maternity & paternity advice.

Recruitment

  • Devise recruitment strategy and oversee its implementation to ensure the HR function takes a proactive approach to support Line Managers with recruitment vacancies.

Training

  • Accountable for the management and delivery of HR & Head Office Training.
  • Ensure all employees comply with industry specific regulatory frameworks.

Employee Relations

  • Ensure legal compliance is met in all HR activities.
  • Give counsel and oversee employee relations issues such as grievance and disciplinary.
  • Ensure that all company policies comply with legal regulations.

Culture

  • Review and approve HR policies, procedures and guidelines and enforce organisation values.
  • Establish responsibilities for employee well being and health and safety compliance.
  • Support business leaders with employee engagement plans.

Reward

  • Coordinate remuneration policies and advise senior management on staff salaries, reward and benefits in reference to external benchmarks.

In addition:


  • To work closely with the Senior Leadership team on M&A during the acquisition of new businesses to ensure the integration runs smoothly.

Profile

  • 5 years experience as an HR Director, Head of HR or Senior HR Leader working with an Executive Leadership Team.
  • Experience in partnering with senior stakeholders across a company with a confident and creditable approach.
  • Experienced in coaching managers and leading where necessary.
  • Familiarity of managing Acquisition and TUPE situations and able to counsel senior management on appropriate practice.

Essential:


  • Experience in a Financial services organisation, preferably Wealth Management or Financial Planning.
  • Knowledge of Financial Services Regulations and Senior Managers & Certification Regime.

Job Offer


As well as a basic salary of between £90,000 and £100,000 you will also receive a bonus based on clear goals.
